Dart Scholarships

High School

Since 2012, Dart has awarded two four-year high school scholarships annually based on academic excellence with a clear focus on science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). A vigorous evaluation process – initial review of application and documentation, mathematics test and written essay, and a face-to-face interview - identifies the successful applicants.

William A. Dart Memorial University Scholarship

Founded in memory of the late William A. Dart, founder of Dart Container Corporation, this scholarship is awarded annually for up to a maximum of four years, for a bachelor's degree from an accredited overseas institution.

One of the best ways to invest in Cayman’s future is to help transform today’s talent into tomorrow’s leaders. This is good for Cayman’s young people, for Dart’s business and for Cayman's future. GLENDA MCTAGGART

Dart's Focus on Education

Dart's focus on education was influenced by William A. and Claire T. Dart – parents of Ken Dart – when they founded The Dart Foundation. Their goal was to advance and encourage youth education, primarily in the areas of science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

Guided by the belief that investments in education deliver high yielding dividends to individuals and their immediate families, and indirect benefits to the community and economy, Dart views education as a foundation for success in school, work and life.
