Diandra is a well-rounded student who excels in the classroom, has made her mark in sports and believes strongly in the value of community service. She consistently appears on the Academic honour roll and the Effort honour roll at St. Ignatius Catholic High School. These accomplishments have seen her recognised numerous times as the Student of the Month, three years in a row as Student of the Year and the Sean Darby Most Outstanding Student of the Year for 2018.

Diandra is active in her school’s extracurricular activities: she plays multiple sports including netball and touch rugby; is currently acting as a young leader in the local 5th George Town Girl Guides; and is a member of her school’s Choir, Rangers, and Science clubs. Outside of school, Diandra has participated in numerous activities including The Youth Leadership Programme (YLP), run by the Grand Cayman Toastmasters Club in the autumn of 2017; recently winning the Christmas Card Art Competition of 2018; and participating in the Queen’s Commonwealth Essay Competition. She put her STEM skills into action in the 2017 Mi Academy Marine Engineering and Naval Architecture Academy run by the prestigious Webb Institute from Long Island, New York.

Diandra hopes to become a paediatric neurologist and wants to be the first Caymanian physician to focus on treating chronic brain-related illnesses in children and adolescents.
