Daniel’s passion for finance started at a young age, and working during summer breaks has bolstered that passion and extended his interest into the area of big data. He juggled his growing interest in global affairs and his academics with a wide range of extracurricular activities, earning his full International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma from Cayman International School (CIS) in 2017.

During his time at CIS, Daniel's involvement in the school community and participation in a wide range of extracurricular activities kept him busy. He was VP of CIS’s Student Leadership group; a member of the youth community service organisation, Impact 345; the assistant coach of the high school girls’ volleyball team; and a member of the school’s United Nations committee. He also participated in the Model United Nations multiple times.

While dedicated to his studies, Daniel thrives on good conversation and social comradery and this is an area where being a Dart Scholar has benefitted him. “Being a Dart Scholar has provided me with a terrific source of support. Not only that, but I’ve met my closest friends because of the programme.”

Daniel is pursuing a degree in Finance and Business Analytics at Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business. This summer Daniel spent time working with Dart’s Information Technology group.
